How to Change the World: Change Management 3.0 by Jurgen Appelo is a small book (70 pages) which is easy to read. The core of the book is a combination of a number of ideas into a superidea, or as the author calls it, a supermodel. There are a few words of wisdom, but overall I think the supermodel becomes too much of an intellectual construction.
If you really are interested in changing the world I would point you in the direction of large group methods, such as Open Space Technology, Future Search, and World Café.
