I just finished re-reading Freedom to Live by Robert S. Hartman. Hartman challenges the reader with questions for reflection on the meaning of one’s life and work.
So, what am I here for in the world?
I wrote in my 10 year summary that:
My focus was initially on finding systemic answers…, but I ended up with intrinsic answers… I had searched for explicate order, but ended up with a focus on implicate order. I had searched for systemic value…, but ended up with giving priority to intrinsic value…
Going forward, I want to create conditions that will activate and intensify life itself, with my he-art. Ultimately, it is a question of love… To allow myself to be fully alive is to love myself and the world. Love is the inside of aliveness.
This is my meaning!
