How to grow intentional communities

In this video Diana Leafe Christian talks about what the successful 10% of intentional communities do. They have:

  • a common vision and purpose,
  • fair participatory decision-making,
  • clear agreements in writing,
  • a good balance of right and left-brain knowledge,
  • methods of staying accountable to agreements,
  • criteria for new members,
  • good communication and processing skills.

I see similarities between growing intentional communities and project teams. It’s not surprising since a project team is a kind of community.
